Partnership

With partnership as one of our core values, we prioritize collaboration with our network of experts to provide robust and current information. Below is information on the RBHAOs we work with as well as a list of our partners more broadly.

Our members support their host sites in addressing the opioid crisis in their community by utilizing the strategic prevention framework and educating the community on substance use and mental health.

Members will engage in community education and harm reduction efforts through coordinating and directly providing naloxone training as well as presentations on stigma reduction, recovery, and Connecticut’s opioid epidemic more broadly.

Prevention Corps works with our partners to identify their needs, develop the member’s position description, and connect them with a qualified, hardworking AmeriCorps member.

Prevention Corps staff recruits, interviews, and trains candidates for placement with host sites. During their term of service, members receive monthly trainings, weekly support from Prevention Corps staff, and additional opportunities to gain skills and knowledge.
